LEADERSHIP:
Mayor's Youth Council (chosen as a member of 14 youth who met quarterly with the mayor of the City of Jackson sharing ideas on issues facing youth in our community and to help the mayor brainstorm future opportunities for youth)
Leadership University (Selected as a member of the Chamber of Commerce's Leadership University for about 30 high school juniors across the City of Jackson who showed leadership potential. The program was designed to introduce participants to leadership positions and organizations in the community. This program lasted my entire junior year and included monthly conferences and community-oriented service at the Boys & Girls Club, Salvation Army, Jackson-Meadows Retirement Home, Parkview Courts Crime March, YMCA, and Goodwill.

American Red Cross Homeless Shelter - After F5 tornado hit Jackson, TN, she assisted in serving meals to tornado victims for a week who were housed at a homeless shelter.
