Dr. Don Wilson and his son, Ben, were fortunate enough to travel to Nicaragua personally last summer. Below are some pictures from their trip. It is children such as these that will benefit from your donations. Not everyone can travel to another country, but each of us can participate by making a difference in someone else's life and one way is to make a donation to purchase a pair of flip flops.
I was personally moved to accept the request by one of the team members for someone to lead a "Happy Feet" project by securing as many flip flops as possible (with an overall goal of 1,800 pairs) for them take on their return trip. During my own trip to Brazil, I personally experienced seeing the joy the children have when they receive a new pair of shoes. 1,200 Flip flops take up quite a bit of storage. The remainder
